Agentic AI System for Contract Intelligence & Client Engagement

Objective
Design and deploy an Agentic AI-based system to autonomously manage contract analysis, client outreach, and renewal workflows using specialized crews and agents operating across departments.
Challenges
Manual workflows led to delayed renewals, lost upsell opportunities, and inconsistent communication between teams. The organization needed a system that could operate autonomously across multiple functions while remaining auditable and compliant.
Solution:
- Engineered a multi-agent Agentic AI system with two primary Crews: the Accounting Crew and the Customer Service Crew
- The Accounting Crew included agents for contract parsing, expiration detection, risk flagging, and upsell opportunity identification
- The Customer Service Crew handled client-facing tasks with agents for email automation, scheduling, call transcription, and escalation handling
- Developed custom tools for structured data extraction, semantic search across legacy contracts, and predictive models to prioritize high-value renewals
- Included a risk assessment agent to flag legal or compliance-related concerns prior to renewal
- Agents communicated asynchronously using structured message-passing, ensuring traceability and modularity
- Maintained human-in-the-loop validation checkpoints to ensure oversight and auditability
Outcome:
The Agentic AI architecture introduced intelligent automation between traditionally siloed teams. By deploying specialized crews and inter-agent workflows, the organization significantly reduced manual workload while improving speed, precision, and accountability in client renewal cycles.
Key Benefits:
- Agentic workflows enabled end-to-end automation across accounting and client services
- Early detection of contract risk and upsell opportunities via embedded predictive models
- Structured coordination between agents ensured minimal human overhead and clearer audit trails
- Reduced manual review time by over 40% and improved renewal response rates
- Built-in modularity allows new crews or agents to be deployed for additional business functions
